Dr. Chavez is originally from Denver, Colorado and moved to Minnesota to attend Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Colorado State
University. She then completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2009.

Since graduation, she has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in the Twin Cities. Her interests include feline medicine and internal medicine.

Dr. Chavez currently resides with her husband, two sons, and Mitch the golden retriever in Woodbury, MN. Dr. Chavez is very excited to join the At Home Animal team and looks forward to establishing long-lasting relationships with clients and pets.
